Earth Day is Friday, April 22.

The Denver Public Library will be staffing a booth in Civic Center Park, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. as part of the 2011 Earth Day Fair, so be sure to stop by this Friday!

DPL has a strong commitment to the environment. The very nature of our "check it out, bring it back" philosophy ensures that many users can enjoy the same content repeatedly. The Library has many resources available for customers, including the Watts Up! Power Check Meters, available for checkout, that tests the energy usage for appliances in your home. Staff have committed to drastically reduce the use of paper, and embrace electronic resources and correspondence whenever possible.
