Shockingly, Marilyn never believed she was beautiful and struggled with her perceived appearance. She was married 3 times - at 16 to James Dougherty, then to baseball legend Joe DiMaggio, and finally to playwright Arthur Miller. In addition to her autobiography, My Story, her personal writings have also been recently published as Fragments: Poems, Intimate Notes, Letters.
