Denver Municipal Election Resources

The May 3, 2011 Denver Municipal General Elections are to be conducted by mail. Deadline to register to vote is April 4, 2011. It is important to keep your address updated with the Denver Elections Division so that your ballot is delivered to your current address. Ballots are not forwarded by the U.S. Post Office.

Important Dates
April 4: Last day to register to vote or update registration in the 2011 Municipal General Election
April 14: Mail-in ballots sent to voters
May 3: Election day and last day to turn in mail-in ballots

Is there a link you can suggest to get unbiased, non-partisan information about the Denver Mayoral candidates?

The Face-to-Face Forums are sponsored by Denver Decides ("a community partnership for accessible, transparent elections") and Denver 8 TV. Although long, they're a good opportunity to compare candidates. 

The Denver Decides page is a good resource too. The candidates describe themselves in their own words. 

There is a list of videos from the Denver Post Mayoral Forum that was recorded on April 20th that I found short and informative. They're listed by key issue.
