Twenty-five years ago, China’s human rights issues were showcased to the world by the Tiananmen Square Massacre. Join Active Minds as we look at how modern China continues to struggle with the balance between authoritarian government and basic human rights. We will highlight the ways in which Chinese society is restricted as we peer through the lens of American freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta: Music for Growing Families

Celebrate "Let's Talk" month, a national campaign encouraging the importance of parent/child communication about sexuality, with New York Times best-selling children's author, Robie Harris! Robie will present on her literature as well as facilitate a panel and Q&A session with some of Denver's most knowledgeable experts on the subject of adolescent sexuality. Brought to you by the Responsible Sex Education Institute of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains and Denver Public Library.
