Kathleen has helped families plan for legal and financial issues raised by long-term illness and death since 1992. She was elected by her peers to be a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Association Foundation in 2000, and is the author of the book Mom, Are You There? Finding a Path to Peace Through Alzheimer's.

Finding another income is critical for so many during these hard economic times. The audience will be introduced to traditional and non-traditional options, how to find a second job that fits, their benefits and disadvantages and the effect of work on SSI disability benefits.
Tuesday Plaza will emphasize art projects for all ages, but particularly designed for adults and teens. There will be laptop computers if you need to do homework or look for a job. Assistants will be there to help you. Your children are welcome to come with you; they may do their homework, read, use the children's computers, or play with our toys.
Wednesday Plazas will concentrate on art projects for all ages, but specifically designed for teens and adults. If you need computer access and/or help to apply for a job, type your resume, study for a test (such as the GED), learn a language, research health information, or do homework, then this is also the place for you. Laptops and a printer are available. Assistants will be there to help you. Your children are welcome to come with you; they may do their homework, read, use the children's computers, or play with our toys.
