Denver Public Library - GVR Branch (4856 North Andes Ct.) and The Office of Economic Development/Workforce Development are offering the following job skills class to help increase your employability: Interviewing Skills: Designed to help customers improve interviewing techniques and market themselves effectively to employers. Customers will develop a customized 30-second commercial for job search interviews.

Look at some common job seeking websites and learn how to search and apply for jobs online.

If you need computer access and/or help to apply for a job, type your resume, study for a test (such as the GED), learn a language, research health information, or do homework, then this is the place for you. Laptops and a printer are available. Assistants will be there to help you. Your children are welcome to come with you; they may do their homework, read, use the children's computers, or play with our toys. The Plaza takes place on Mondays 6:30-7:30, Tuesdays 4:30-7:30, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 3:30-5:30.

Whether you already have a resume or need to start from scratch, come learn how to use MS Word to easily create a professional looking resume. Bring your work history information to class.
