This discussion of Enrique's Journey will be moderated by Kathy Sanchez Castejon, a third year doctoral student in the School Psychology Program at the University of Northern Colorado. Ms. Sanchez Castejon’s work with the Hispanic community includes interviewing Latino parents and their at-risk sons about their participation in a parent involvement program in Greeley. She has also traveled to Guatemala to provide in-service presentations on violence and trauma and how to address traumatized children’s needs in the schools.
Look at the world through impaired eyes and learn about the free services from the Colorado Talking Books Library with Debi MacLeod. The library provides services to all Coloradans who are print disabled. Learn how you or someone you know can access this "best kept secret." As one of their customers wrote to them: "Love this program. I am seeing through my ears now and it is wonderful."
