The (Probably) Awesome Book Club at Central (DEC)

Books Authors and Writing
10:00 am - 11:30 am
Burnham Hoyt book club room (1st floor by the teen space)

The (Probably) Awesome Book Club is a teen book club (grades 6-12) where we mainly read sci-fi, fantasy, and graphic novels. We meet once a month to chat about the books, drink coffee, and eat donuts. If you want to join and you haven't read the book yet, that's okay! Come by and you can jump in the next month. If you have any questions, please contact Kellie at 720-865-1312 or kcannon@denverlibrary.org.

December's book is Beauty Queens by Libba Bray. While it's not sci-fi or fantasy, it does feature a stuffed lemur as a top government adviser, which is pretty great.

November's book pick is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. What started out as a dare from Shelley's friends to tell a ghost story turned into the book that we all know today.
