Author Nancy Peterson discusses her new novel. In the upheaval of 1942, the small town of Hiram’s Spring suddenly becomes home to a B-17 Bomber training base, then a German Prisoner of War Camp. The Axis powers seem unstoppable. With her brother fighting in North Africa, and fear and suspicion rampant, ten-year-old Sis struggles to understand who is friend and who is foe.
