On Saturday, September 21, we will learn about hand-made paper with origins in pre-Hispanic Mexico and how this paper is used for indigenous paintings. Be inspired and create your own paintings on hand-made paper from Mexico.
Preschool Arts and Crafts for ages 3 – 5. We’ll read a book and create a simple craft. We’ll also learn about color, experiment with texture, get exposure to various art materials and even practice with scissors. Please be on time!

Learn the technique of knitting beads into your projects with this workshop for advanced knitters. Our teachers Ann Myhre and Janny Potter will show great techniques for beaded knitting and you’ll come away with a chic bead cap. Materials list provided with registration confirmation. Turn sheets of metal into works of art by embossing designs onto metal and shading with color. Then mount your designs on card stock. Registration is required. Please call 720-865-0325. For grades 4 and up.
Fused glass suncatchers are beautiful and so are aspen meadows! Artists will learn how to create this timeless landscape using glass. In this class there is minimal glass cutting as we will be working with glass frit. This suncatcher will have wire at the top for easy hanging. Become inspired and create your own self portrait, incorporating a variety of techniques such as drawing, painting, collage, and writing.
Join Denver Craft Ninjas at the Sam Gary Branch of the Denver Public Library for custom made stamps and hand printed tote bags.
Each attendee will received all the materials they'll need to make their very own stamps and, using fabric paint, will learn to use their stamps on a tote bag. This is a fun project that allows attendees to explore stamp making. For grades 4 and up.
