Create modern folk art! We will be making felt calaveras to celebrate Mexico's Day of the Dead. These embroidered felt skulls resemble colorful, highly decorated "sugar skulls" popular during this time of year. All materials provided. 2hrs. Limited to 15 people - arrive early to secure your spot.

Come to the Cherry Creek library, grab a paper skull, and decorate it for a chance to win a prize! Skulls will be available to pick up starting October 11, and staff will vote for a winner on November 5. Supplies are limited, so grab yours fast! Open to all ages.

The 2nd Annual DPL Art & Crafts at the Library Sale takes place Saturday, September 27, 9-5 at Sam Gary Branch, 2961 Roslyn St. Admission is free and open to the public.

We will be showcasing the handmade talents of Denver Public Library’s staff, family and friends including:

Handmade Jewelry, Paintings & Prints, Day of the Dead Crafts, Fabric Accessories, Calligraphy Art, Comics & Digital Illustrations, Art Prints & Comic Books, Hand-Sewn Pillows, Ceramics, Handmade Cards, Photography, Aprons, Baby Clothes, River Rock Basins, Collage/Decoupage Items, Paper Art, and much more.
