Fresh City Life asked fashion designer James Silvrants to answer our questionnaire and found out that, for James, there is no room for mendacity in his design for living. 

In the weeks leading up to our fashion spectacle Frock Out, each of our eleven designers will be featured here with their responses to the infamous Proust Questionnaire. Marcel Proust (1871-1922), French novelist, critic and essayist, believed that people must know and understand themselves before they can know or understand others.

There is already a lot of buzz around this year's design competition, Frock Out. It is quickly becoming the defining example of a 'top-heavy' event. Since its theme works well with the notion of a three-ring circus at the county fairgrounds, we thought a little gilding of the lily was in order.
