On Saturday, March 19, 10 a.m. at the Schlessman Family Branch, learn about the health benefits of yoga from Michelle Corriell, Registered Yoga Teacher and owner of neighborhood studio Harmony Yoga. Michelle will answer common questions that people have about starting a yoga practice and help you decide if it's right for you. You don't have to be flexible to try yoga, and you don't have to be of a certain age or ability level, either!

Whether you want to feed your body and spirit by starting a yoga practice, improve the look of your closet, or need some tax tips, Fresh City Life My Branch has something for you this week.

Start off by getting up to speed on the Denver Public Library's new catalog, Polaris on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 at the Ross-Cherry Creek Branch. Find out about keeping track of your reading history, placing holds, and other fabulous features!

Join the Fairmount Heritage Foundation on Sunday, March 13, 2 p.m. at the Schlessman Family Branch to celebrate Women's History Month.

Learn about the women, well-behaved and not, who have made history in Colorado. Fairmount volunteers Joan & Garry O'Hara will be your guides for this slide show through the history of Colorado's notable women.

There are several options for you crafty folks. On Tuesday, March 1 at 10 a.m., the Bear Valley Branch will be hosting Sit 'n Knit, a group sure to please any fiber maven. Both experienced knitters and beginners are welcome to share their knowledge and learn something new. Fiber hosts are Kathy Orth and Charlotte Updike.

The Overdue Love Club has a new hostess! Vivienne VaVoom, one of Denver's top burlesque entertainers, comes to the singles night for intelligent people brimming with enthusiasm and ideas on how to get Denver singles to meet other Denver singles.
