The exhibition, will illustrate the history of the contributions of the Loretto Community through photographs, art, and memorabilia. The focus will be on five areas of their history and accomplishments: Beginnings in Kentucky and Santa Fe; The Schools; Global Loretto; Social Entrepreneurship: Peace and Justice; and Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Lives. Some of the signature pieces on view will include a replica of the very first high school diploma conferred in the Colorado territory in 1875 by St.

When George Harrison and The Beatles befriended Ravi Shankar, the traditional instrument of classical Indian music, the sitar, was embraced by American audiences. It is often heard in world music; its sympathetic tones marrying well with a wide range of musical genres. Chris ‘Citrus’ Sauthoff brings his signature style to the sitar, creating music that has been described as citradelic. Fresh City Life is thrilled to host Citrus for this concert highlighting the poetic and lyrical music of the sitar.

We are launching our first ever Pie Social, and Denver’s most social girl, Cora Vette is hosting and making great music, too. Come enjoy one of the great lost traditions of small town America: the pie social. Our friends at Whole Foods Market are bringin’ the pie, so you know it’s gonna be good eats. Pie is served at 2 p.m. and Cora Vette and the Vinyl Tops take the stage at 2:30 p.m. Fun for all ages! We’ll be meeting on the Acoma Plaza for this fun community event, and in the case of inclement weather, we’ll move to our B2 Conference Center. All free, but registration is encouraged.
