What is a featured title?
Featured titles are multiple copies of bestsellers and other high interest titles. It is just like going to the bookstore with stacks of the latest titles and no long wait on the holds list. There are seven locations throughout the city that have featured titles: the Central Library, Bear Valley, Ross-Broadway, Ross-Cherry Creek, Ross-University Hills, Schlessman Family and Smiley Branch Library.

Do I have less time to read a featured title?
No. The loan period is 21 days. Featured titles may not be renewed.
How do I know if I have a featured title? Look for this label!

Above is a list of a few of our featured titles currently available at the branches listed below. In the Library Catalog the status will say: Not checked out. For a complete list of titles featured at a specific branch, please visit or contact one of these 7 DPL branches directly:

Will a copy still be available by the time I get there?
To make sure, please contact the branch and they will hold a copy for you. You must pick the book up by the time the branch closes the same day you contact them. Otherwise, the book will be returned to the shelf.
