Explore Siberia on Saturday, February 25 at 2 p.m. at the Ross-University Hills Branch: This slide show will give you a tour through this remote land, including architecture, ruins, the countryside, and the Lake Baikal region. How about ones specific to genre fiction? Here are some awards lists you might not have thought to look for your next teen read. Of course, these books are great for adults, too!

Colorado Authors Series Presents Flint Whitlock

The Beasts of Buchenwald

The Fresh City Life My Branch Colorado Authors Series presents Flint Whitlock, author of The Beasts of Buchenwald, this Sunday, February 12, at 2 p.m. at Schlessman.

Mr. Whitlock is an author and military historian specializing in World War II. Three of his books have been finalists for the Colorado Book Award. He has appeared on The History Channel and in various documentaries, and often leads battlefield tours. For the past two years, he has been the editor-in-chief of a national magazine, WWII History.
