CONNECTING VECINOS is a program based upon collaborating with artistic individuals and creative organizations from the communities that Byers Branch Library serves. Each collaboration results in a unique event that invites library customers to participate and to discover a visionary resource available in the neighborhood.

Inspired by Byers Branch Library's motto, “Small library, big world… we will get you there,” CONNECTING VECINOS events provide a platform for neighbors to share their skills and talent with each other. Each event celebrates the value of connecting with your neighbors (Vecinos) and taking steps into the big world together.

  • Events take place at Byers Branch Library every 3rd Saturday of the month at 2:00 p.m.
  • Events are free of charge and people of all ages are welcome to attend.
  • Those who collaborate with Byers Branch Library volunteer their time and expertise. If you are interested in collaborating, please contact Yolanda at ychichester@denverlibrary.org.
  • Follow Byers Branch Library on Facebook to stay informed about CONNECTING VECINOS programs. For information about all the programs currently offered at Byers Branch Library, please visit the Byers Event Calendar.
