On Wednesday, July 25 at 6 p.m. at the Smiley Branch, join Sundari Kraft, author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Urban Homesteading, and learn what urban homesteading is, how it looks in Denver, and how you can get started!

There are still spaces left in the IMPACT Personal Awareness & Safety Strategies Workshop happening at Schlessman on Saturday, July 28 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. This workshop will introduce tools and strategies for navigating your world with personal safety in mind. It will cover awareness, instinct, boundary setting, and verbal and physical strategies, and you will gain a "tool belt" of skills to use in keeping yourself safe with friends, coworkers, or strangers. Ready to relax with some music & beautiful scenery? Guitarist Laurie Dameron will be at Ross-Cherry Creek on Saturday, July 28 at 2 p.m. to present Summer Strumming. Enjoy the music while watching a slide show of scenery and wildlife from Colorado and Utah.
