Summer of Reading Game On!

Night Vision

It's that time of year again...to play Denver Public Library's Summer of Reading game. Visit any one of our 23 locations starting May 26th and sign up for our free Teen reading program. (This year's theme is called Night Vision.) Keep track of your reading and win prizes like a wallet, an Elitch ticket and a book.

If you complete 12 hours of reading you will be entered in a prize drawing for an iPod or Dell laptop computer.

Are you a teen parent? Sign up your little ones for the Read with Me baby game (for children birth to pre-kindergarten) or the Kids (Dream Big: Read!) game (kindergarten to 5th grade) and earn additional prizes. Reading to children also counts towards your teen reading time! The Read with Me program also has fun and easy ideas to help babies learn through talking, singing, playing and writing with you too. These are also great ideas for those of you that babysit or have younger brothers and sisters.

Need something interesting to read? We are here to help! Come into any location and we will help you find books, magazines, graphic novels, picturebooks, and eBooks...or check out our blogs for additional ideas. We hope to see you sometime this summer!

I really love reading but getting prizes makes it more fun!

Hi, not to be nosy or rude, but by saying "teen parent" are you referring to the meaning of a teenager under the age of 18 who has a child? Personally I would not offer rewards for being a teen parent, as it should be discouraged rather than encouraged.

The Denver Public Library encourages all parents, regardless of age, to support the literacy needs of their children so they are successful in school and life.

wow i would love to win prizes how cool is that!?And i love reading and i hope to be a librarian someday
Really? I can get prizes for reading I was planning on doing anyway? Awesome.
that's really cool huh and do you love reading as much as i do?
