November Highlights

Army bicycles
holiday baking

Have you had a chance to look at the November/December schedule of Fresh City Life My Branch events and classes yet? Here are some highlights!

On Saturday, November 10 at 2 p.m., celebrate Veterans Day with Army Bicycles: The Ride Stuff at Schlessman. Local, Pulitzer Prize winning author Jerry Cleveland explores how the military has used the bicycle and why it attracted the attention of commanders worldwide.

If chocolate is more to your taste, check out Active Minds: Chocolate on Wednesday, November 14 at 6 p.m. at the Ross-Cherry Creek Branch. Learn the history of chocolate, including roles played by Christopher Columbus and Hernando Cortez, as well as how raw cacao beans are transformed into the chocolate we love and the origins of the Hershey company.

Are you ready for the holidays? We have many holiday cooking classes to inspire your celebrations! See the Feature page for a complete listing!
