Library Love Story: Judy Montero

In our continuing series, City Councilwoman Judy Montero talks about the importance of libraries in the community.

Councilwoman Judy Montero has been a library lover since she was a young child. She spent much of her adolescence visiting the bookmobile and the Smiley Branch Library in Northwest Denver. To this day she finds herself at the Central Library holding meetings or checking out books. She feels that, "Libraries are truly the heart and soul of Denver, and reading opens up the world of possibilities for Denver’s citizens. They are wonderful resources for people of all ages, as our libraries have always been there for me both as an adult and a child."
