The 26th annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards were given out on July 25 At San Diego Comic Con International. Awards were given out in 30 categories to works published in 2013, celebrating the best of the comics world. Whether you're a longtime fan of comics and graphic novels or want to try out this increasingly popular format (even NPR is in on the action, featuring several graphic format books in the past few weeks), present and past Eisner winners and nominees are a great place to look for your next read. I love the Star War's themed graphic comics by Jeffrey Brown, so very funny!! I enjoyed sharing them with my son who also got a big kick out of them!

Saga was awesome! Battling boy was really good too
