We're seeking volunteers for our Phone-a-Story service!
If you're fluent in languages like Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, or Amharic, and eager to spread the joy of storytelling and literacy, we would love to partner with you.
Following simple guidelines and on your own schedule, you can record stories, poems, riddles or songs for Phone-a-Story, connecting with listeners all over the country and making a meaningful impact just using your voice and a phone device.

Once you have applied, you can expect:
- A staff member to share with you the instructions to record.
- Let us know once you have done your recording(s) so we can check it and add it to the calendar.
- When your story is uploaded to the system we will let you know so you can share with your community.
